Bargin estimates the potential profit or loss of reselling secondhand items, using recent sold prices and your own fee and postage figures, and helps you track your offers, stock and sales. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
Every profit figure, range and suggested offer is an estimate. It is not a guarantee of what you will pay, what an item will sell for, or whether a seller will accept an offer. Prices move and fees change. Your buying and selling decisions are your own, and nothing in Bargin is financial advice.
You must be 18 or over. Keep your log-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. One free trial per person — creating extra accounts to get more trials is not allowed.
New accounts get a 7-day free trial with up to 15 scans, whichever runs out first. No payment details are needed for the trial, and it does not turn into a paid plan automatically — you choose whether to subscribe.
Bargin Pro (£8.99 a month, 150 scans a month) and Bargin Pro+ (£15.99 a month, 300 scans a month) are monthly subscriptions sold through Google Play or the App Store, at the price shown before you buy. They renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your Google Play or App Store subscription settings; you keep your plan until the end of the month you have paid for. Scan allowances reset each billing month and unused scans do not roll over. Upgrading from Pro to Pro+ takes effect straight away with a part-month charge; switching down takes effect at your next renewal. If we change a price, we will tell you in advance and the new price only applies from your next renewal after that notice.
UK law normally gives you 14 days to cancel a digital service. Because your plan starts immediately when you subscribe, you agree that it begins straight away, and your right to cancel ends once you have started using it — this does not affect your right to cancel future renewals at any time. Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their policies; if something has gone wrong, email us and we will help. None of this affects your statutory rights if the service is faulty or not as described.
Scan packs (25 or 75 scans, at the price shown before you buy) are one-off purchases through Google Play or the App Store — they are not subscriptions and never renew. A pack’s scans are added as bonus scans straight after payment: they don’t expire, are only used once your trial or monthly scans have run out, have no cash value and can’t be transferred. Because they are added straight away, you agree that your right to cancel ends once they are added. Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple; if a pack is refunded, its scans are removed (any already used are not charged again).
Every account has a referral code. A new account that enters a code within 14 days of signing up gets 10 bonus scans. The code’s owner gets 30 bonus scans when that account first starts a paid plan, for up to 10 accounts. Bonus scans don’t expire, have no cash value and can’t be transferred. They are only used once your trial or monthly scans have run out, and the fair-use limit below still applies. Creating accounts to collect bonuses isn’t allowed, and we may remove bonus scans gained that way. Bonus scans end if you delete your account.
To keep the service fast and affordable for everyone, each account can start up to 60 scans in any 24 hours, on top of its plan allowance. Do not use Bargin to bulk-collect data, resell our results, get around scan limits, or do anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.
When you ask Bargin to check a Vinted or Depop listing, we read that one public listing page for you. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for Vinted, Depop or any other marketplace, and their names belong to their owners. Listings can change, sell or disappear at any time.
We take reasonable care to make Bargin accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not responsible for losses from buying or selling decisions you make, or for losses that were not foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete my account. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription — cancel that in Google Play or the App Store first. We may close accounts that seriously break these terms, and will refund any unused paid period if we do so without a good reason.
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel before it takes effect.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring claims in your local courts.
